Sweet Sunday Birthday

Here's a birthday card based on Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 73. I said I used a lot of those sketches to get me back into my stamping groove again and I meant it. I'm loving this Sweet & Sour Specialty paper; the colors and patterns in it are so fun! This was an easy card to make, with a few layers of paper and a couple of accessories to spice it up a bit. Thanks for visiting!

Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes
Ink: Black StazOn, Pumpkin Pie & Rose Red
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla & Rose Red Cardstock, Sweet & Sour Specialty Paper

Mojo Valentine

This Valentine's Day card is based on Mojo Monday Sketch 174. I tweaked it a little by making my card a square because I needed the extra width to fit everything on it. To make the greeting, I cut a piece of cardstock the same size as the Word Window Punch (3/8 of an inch I believe) and then slid it into the Word Window Punch with one end of it sticking up out of the punch to punch one end of it. Does that make sense? Perhaps I'll try to post a photo later showing you what I mean. Thanks for visiting!

Stamps: Filled with Love, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Whisper White & Pretty in Pink Cardstock, Love Patterns DSP Pack
Accessories & Tools: Circle Scissor Plus, Full Heart XL, Word Window Large & Heart to Heart XL Punches, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stamping Sponges, 5/8" Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, Subtles Brads, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Stampin' Dimensionals

I'm baaaack!

Wow! It probably seems as though I've been gone forever. To be honest, it kind of feels that way to me. I had to take some time off last summer and once I did, I had a difficult time getting things moving again. The good news is that I found my stamping mojo and I've been hard at work making lots of new projects which I'll be sharing over the next few weeks.

Here is the first of many projects that I have to share...

I needed a little help to get myself going again, so I used lots of card sketch challenges to create my cards. This card was based on Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 83. I realize that it's a little late for Valentine's Day cards, but I'll be sharing a few that I made anyway, and if they inspire you, you can always use them for next year. I'm looking forward to sharing more projects with you soon. Thanks for visiting!

"Enjoy" Scrapbook Page

Since May is National Scrapbook Month, I thought I'd share a scrapbook page that I recently made. The photo was taken on a beautiful day in March when the skiing and snowboarding were great! I was unable to use my Crop-A-Dile to set the Jumbo Eyelet, because it was too far into the paper. Instead, I used a pair of pliers to bend down the back of the eyelet and then I hammered it flat. It took a little more time than using the Crop-A-Dile, but it was effective. I could have done the page without the eyelet, but I think it works well with the circles in the Designer Series Paper. Thanks for visiting!
